What we import from each platform

Last reviewed 3 September 2026

Every platform hands out a different amount, and none of them hands out everything. What arrives is what they will give a third party — not a decision we made.

Hours are a Steam thing

Steam is the only one of the five that will tell a third party how long you have played something — and only if you have not ticked Always keep my total playtime private. Everywhere else the games arrive and the hours read zero, which is the platform's answer rather than a failed import.

"Now playing" comes from two places

Steam presence and Discord Rich Presence. Either one can put a game on your profile while you are in it. Neither works if the platform's own privacy settings hide what you are doing.

What we never get

Passwords, payment details, friends lists, messages, and anything you have bought but not added to a library. Steam is read through its public API; the other four are read with tokens you can revoke on their side at any time.

How often it refreshes

Once a week automatically, and immediately whenever you press Sync now in Settings → Connections.

One tap. It decides which answers we rewrite first.

Still stuck?

Both of these reach a person. Tell us what you tried — it saves a round trip.
